DESCRIPTION:Peyman Salimi and Mahmood Schricker play two separate sets combining rock\, Persian music and electronic music.\n\n\n\n\nPeyman Salimi is a musician who is making his mark on the global music scene with his unique blend of alternative pop/rock and Persian singer-songwriter style. The show will feature a set of his new songs from his concept album\, The Psychology of Letting Go\, which promises to be a memorable experience for all those in attendance. \nIn addition to showcasing his music\, Peyman is using this opportunity to raise awareness and show his support for the women of Iran who are bravely protesting against the brutality of the Iranian regime. This is a cause that is close to his heart\, and he hopes that his performance will inspire others to take action and support this important movement. \nJoining the artists on stage for this performance is Canadian bass player and singer-songwriter\, Zoe Guigueno. Together\, they will create a powerful and dynamic musical experience that is not to be missed. \nMahmood Schricker focusses on integrating minimal ambient and dub sounds with Persian melodies\, having transformed the setar into an electronic instrument to expand the possibilities for Persian music.
